Rauno Mäekivi currently serves as an adviser on digital development matters at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Estonia.
His previous experiences include coordinating a task force on care burden reduction at the Estonian Government Office, modernizing primary health care funding at the Estonian Health Insurance Fund and conducting research on science, technology and innovation policies as a junior research fellow at TalTech.
Rauno holds a MA degree in Social Sciences from TalTech, focusing on policies to spur innovation, with additional training from University of Sussex (SPRU), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Södertörn University and University of Iceland.
