DMEA 2022: See you in Berlin!

• Europe’s leading event for digitalisation in the healthcare system is taking place from 26 to 28 April on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

• More than 350 exhibitors have already registered for DMEA.

• In numerous workshops, pitches and presentations, experts from the field of digital health will exchange ideas with the professional audience.

Berlin, 24. Feb. 2022 – From digital vaccination passes, to video consultations to the Hospital Future Act (KHZG) – from 26 to 28 April 2022 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, the focus is once again on the digital future of the healthcare system. After two years of pandemic digital events, the digital health community can meet and network in person again, exchange ideas and network on site.

The professional audience can expect an extensive program of congress, workshops, seminars, discussions, pitches and panel presentations around the topics that will occupy the industry now and also in the future - from digitalization in care, to the use of artificial intelligence, to digitalized medical practices.

A first round of highlights from the DMEA congress programme can already be previewed on the DMEA website, with regular updates to follow. Session headings include ‘Connected Care 2022: Are we finally getting there?’ – topics will include an introduction to the virtual Hospital in North Rhine-Westphalia, integrated digital healthcare schemes in Switzerland. Safety and security in networked care will also be featured.

Furthermore, the demand for exhibition stands among companies is very high. More than 350 exhibitors have already secured their stand space, including industry heavyweights such as CompuGroup Medical Deutschland AG, Dedalus Healthcare GmbH, ID Information und Dokumentation im Gesundheitswesen GmbH & Co. KGaA, medatixx GmbH & Co. KG, Meierhofer AG, NEXUS AG and Deutsche Telekom Healthcare and Security Solutions GmbH. Registrations are still possible. For the first time, DMEA will occupy 6 exhibition halls instead of the previous four - offering an even greater opportunity to look around, exchange views and make contact.

In addition to German exhibitors, there are also numerous innovative companies from other European countries who are presenting themselves and their products on the combined stands of Switzerland, the Netherlands, Finland and Poland, among others.

Official ticket sales will start at the beginning of March. In line with the federal-state decision on Corona regulations and the end of strict protective measures planned therein from March 20, further relaxations are expected to take effect during DMEA at the end of April. As things stand the event will take place under ’3G’ rules – exhibitors and visitors must be vaccinated, have recovered from Covid or present a negative test result and wear a mask.
