Why does DMEA go digital?
Due to the very dynamic development, which makes it considerably more difficult to make decisions well in advance and the postponement in December 2020 - we have made the final assessment of the development and situation.
In the course of this renewed evaluation, we came to the conclusion that an on-site event in June in the form and scope we are striving for will not be feasible. In order to offer our exhibitors and participants the greatest possible planning security and to ensure their health and safety, we have therefore decided to go digital.
Different scenarios were already prepared in the planning of the DMEA so that it was possible to switch to a purely digital event relatively quickly.
What can I expect from the digital DMEA?
The DMEA 2021 will offer trade visitors an extensive virtual program with a focus on congresses, training and networking on all facets of digital health care. Part of the program topics will be available at the Pre-DMEA week (May 7-11, 2021).

Will DMEA be permanent in June and take always place a digital event ?
No. DMEA 2022 will take place on-site in Berlin. Planned from 26-28 April 2022.

Information for Exhibitors
What happens to my registration and services that have already been booked?
No, all orders have also been canceled and will not be billed. The same applies to additional services ordered in the BECO online shop yet and to stand construction ordered from Messe Berlin.
It is not possible to transfer individual services or the registration. In order to be part of the digital version of the DMEA as an exhibitor, you have to register again.
What opportunities does the digital event offer exhibitors?

Can I have my registration and placement from this year carried over to the next on-site DMEA in 2022?
No, it is not possible. Every exhibitor has to register again and the placements will also be re-coordinated for the next DMEA which will take place from April 26-28, 2022. The registration documents will be published on our website in due course and sent to all exhibitors by email.
What happens to my entries in the Virtual Market Place online catalog?
If you register for the digital event as an exhibitor, the data contained in your newly booked package will be transferred. You can still access all other data in the archive of your exhibitor account. This happens automatically, you don't have to do anything here.
As soon as all preparations and the renovation of the Virtual Market Place® have been completed (probably in mid-April), all exhibitors who have registered up to then will receive their access data for processing company entries and can upload or update their data according to their booked package.
Will Messe Berlin GmbH reimburse expenses for services booked with third parties, catering, travel fares/accommodation, Visa etc?
No. Services booked with third parties are the subject of a contract between the parties who entered into the relevant agreement. Thus, Messe Berlin does not reimburse any costs.
