About the jury member
As Director of the Healthcare Lab at TUM Venture Labs, Dr. Nicolai Heinzelmann is responsible for Europe's largest deep tech hub in the healthcare sector (medtech, biotech, digital health) and acts as a bridge builder between academic research, young companies, and established industry.
Before working in Munich, he established the Kilometer1 university incubator in Konstanz. Nicolai underpinned his expertise with a doctorate at KIT in Karlsruhe in the field of corporate venturing and advises established companies on the strategic implementation of entrepreneurial innovation activities.
