About the jury member
Thilo Veil graduated with a degree in economics and mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin. He also holds a degree from ESCP Business School, Paris, and an MBA.
He has held management positions at Töchtern & Söhne GmbH (founder and managing director), xx-well.com AG (co-founder and board member), Wella AG (management Retail D), and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (project manager).
Today, Thilo Veil is the owner of T VENTURES - BERLIN, specializing in management consulting, strategy development, and start-up investments. He is involved with the Business Angels Club Berlin-Brandenburg (board member) and as a venture partner with the Berlin Angel Fund (member of the investment committee).
Veil was awarded the VDEK Future Prize 2018 and named “Innovator of the Year 2019” for his achievements in healthcare. He also received the Special Prize from Gesundheitsnetzwerker. In 2024, he was voted BACB Business Angel of the Year.
