It all started with an idea - the number of innovative start-ups at DMEA has been increasing for years. The best idea or solution should now be honored with the DMEA nova Award at DMEA 2024. More than 90 founders from Germany and Europe applied in the Call for Ideas. An expert jury selected the 20 most convincing start-ups and awarded them in the categories

- Focus: patients, relatives and employees

- Sustainable company organization

- Use of AI to improve care

- Process innovation: new forms of care

against each other.

At the end of the second DMEA day, the final four were determined - the best startup in each category:

- inConAlert

- Fenjax

- Exploris Health AG

- living brain

In the final pitch on the third DMEA day, these four had to compete against each other once again and convince the jury. Dr. Manuel Römer from Exploris Health succeeded best with his AI-based multi-marker diagnostics.

In addition to the DMEA nova Award, the company can look forward to prize money of 2,500 euros.
