Seminar leader and moderator:
- Prof. Dr. Martin Staemmler, Federal Association of Hospital IT Managers (KH-IT)
The aim of the seminar is to get to know and assess procedures and best practices for implementing privacy and security when using FHIR resources and clinical data repositories.
The preservation of confidentiality, integrity and availability result in a variety of requirements such as authentication, authorization, secure transport, secure FHIR servers and APIs, encryption, enforcement of access control and compliance with the consent given by the data subject, logging and performance. The implementation of the requirements, ideally with standard-compliant solutions, will be presented and evaluated as part of this seminar for solutions used in routine patient care and research.
